The best movie I saw this year...

What can we talk about?
Mopeds:
We've got helmets now, which makes me more comfortable. The QT50 just needs a turn signal flasher and a headlight.
The Express II needs work, this work is daunting.
Also getting them plated and titled looks hard and expensive.
Garden-
Yeah, we ended up there on Saturday. 1st visit this year. I was dreading it, but all in all it wasn't horrible. The spearmint from last year took over 1/2 the plot, with weeds in the other half.
There's baby birds in the birdhouse, I saw that crazy attacking bird too. And some garden neighbors.
I have my seedlings in the store window still, a place to buy more cherokee purple tomatoes, some rare radish seeds coming from Australia, & a lot of work ahead of me. Exciting.
Weight loss-
What's that? I may be back to my old weight. Stress eating is fun, seriously.
Music-
1/4 of the tracks for the year are done. Still going steady.
Pictures and better posts may occur in the future.

One of the joys of playing records...
You can play them at the wrong speed. The boss and I are putting together an album of songs played at the wrong speed that make them sound like someone else singing. I may have to do some frequency & spectrum changes, but it's weird how many female vocalists end up sound like Ian Curtis (of Joy Division fame).
Amy Stewart's "Knock On Wood" 45 played at 33.3 speed sounds like Michael McDonald.

I made a mistake...
In my list of 3 albums, I forgot one and substituted something else.
Originally in those times, these were tapes we had that mostly lived at Phil's or Adam's house.
Although the "Stone Circles" tape was played often, actually the 3rd tape was:
The Pixies "Surfer Rosa"
I don't know where the tapes are now, except the Surfer Rosa tape was in my car somewhere last year.
I have repurchased these "4" tapes on CD in the last few years.

Whole album-no skip tracks...
Back in the "good old days", we used to play alot of music to carry us through the night.
There was 3 particular titles that we used to listen to over and over, talking, drinking, enjoying life as it were.
These albums were special in that we could listen, and not need to go "fast forward to the next track, I hate this song...".
I still think that this holds true. I listen to a lot of albums all the way through 1 time, but not every time.
Here's a few from back then:
Mr. Bungle "self-titled"
Legendary Pink Dots "Stone Circles"
Depeche Mode "Violator"
