Fun stuff
On Saturday night I got a new videogame and a special cable to hook up massive HD capibility from my cable box to my new (but at that time unpurchased TV).
The game was :
Art Of Fighting : Anthology
It has Art Of Fighting 1, 2, & 3! How awesome! It won't load on my PS2 hard drive, so I have to play with the disc, but that's OK, it's an emulator, and is the real game! Yes!
I get to play as the character that always reminded me of Eric back in the day, probably with Eric in the very near future.
We also got a new LCD TV yesterday, as the Westinghouse conked out. I used this as an excuse to get something bigger & better, a 32" Widescreen Vizio VX32L.
I got to actually use HDMI cables and see a DVD last night in upconverted 1080i! We watched the Bourne Identity and it was cool.
I don't have this TV on the wall, I could, but I like it on the shelf for viewing angle better (this week).

Funny how things go...
So, probably today, the universal garage door opener I got to use whilst leeching Eric & Mojan's indoor garage space arrives from eBay. But last night, Teflon told me the new owner of their place came down and that he is moving in on Saturday and would like his spot. So, now, I can get in and out of the garage easilly, but I have no place to park down there. Good thing I kept renting the outside spot from Krista. I guess I'll put a notice down in the laundry room and try and sell the opener for a profit. I am glad for Mojan & Eric though, as they were worried about selling, and I guess don't have to worry anymore. I thought about moving my car later today, but instead moved it last night, because what if that guy showed up today wanting to park in preparing for his move and couldn't find me to get his parking spot, I'd be pissed as hell about that, and that kind of situation as a "welcome to the building" is not the first impression I'd like to give. Let's see if he gives me that same type of 1st impression by putting his moving truck on the back lot, like you're not supposed to, even though there's big signs saying so, ignorance is bliss. And there's some totally blissed out people in the world.

Goodbye to the island...
2 weeks ago, I said goodbye to the island.
The island has been in my life since the show was filmed. It was a pile of clothes and boxes that took up @ 3' square space in my bedroom.
I cleaned the crap out of it. I got it all organized & everything.
Felt good.
Now I just need to sell 2 bookcases in my storage shed that are taking too much space. Then I can get some totes put away there and the house all cleaned 100%. And maybe even paint the bedroom.
I even found my eMate!
