Rotofugi Gallery opening (01/13/2006) with TADO & Christopher Lee
Some of you may know that I collect all sorts of crap. Here's some of my collection:
I'd been reading online about how Rotofugi was having a gallery opening featuring the artist team TADO (Mike & Katie) and Christopher Lee.
It became the mantra as to what I was doing on Saturday night. I found out later Friday it was on Friday, not Saturday. Freak-out fest! Then I figured out TADO were responsible for one of my favorite collectables, the Fortune Pork mini-plush series. So, plans were adjusted and Teflon and I set out. We got there at 9PM.
It was crowded, but not too bad. My main problem was I wanted to shop, and it was a hang-out fest. At one point I just started saying "stand aside, I wanna see what's behind you".
I had a budget, but I didn't see much that I had wanted.
I ended up buying a glow-in-the-dark Munny figure for artist purposes.
I got in line to have my toys doodled on. I was 3rd in line and waited about an hour. I asked the guy in front of me (linearaccellerator) if it was ok for them to draw on it (I saw he had the same thing as me) and he responded back that yeah, and "they're spending alot of time on them!".
First I had TADO:
That's my blond/brown hair, and Mike Tado drawing on my piece, along with Katie Tado.

Then Christopher Lee got at my acceessories for the Munny. I hadn't seen that Tado hadn't saved him the front half to do, but oh well.
a couch fort!
Pretty cool stuff.
They had a DJ and open bar, Teflon drank and entered in the coloring contest.
Afterwards we went to Superdawg.
