New My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult album "Gay, Black & Married"
Whew, after a loooooooong hiatus, I bring you news of the new TKK album, "Gay, Black, And Married"! This gem was concieved over 10 years ago by the boys, but was never released for one reason or another, but now Rykodisc is coming to the rescue and releasing the album on October 25th. You got that? So mark your calenders! - HourOfZero.net
Well, I went to iTunes and listened to the samples. 10 years ago?? Bullshit. If they had an album worth of discotrash waiting, wouldn't you think that someone, such as a fan like me, who has seen them live like millions of times (13) would recognize at least one of those songs? You'd think having an album worth of tracks, that you'd play one or two live whilst touring, right?
This is all new stuff. Forget that technically some of those sounds were near impossible 10 years ago. I just don't like being lied to. Frankie & Marsden, for shame for trying to pull a fast one.
Not that I won't buy it though.
I love their discotrash.

My Japanese ability
If you've ever talked to me about my Japanese language skills, I undoubtly say at some point:
"I can hold a conversation with a 4 year old, especially if we're going to the zoo by bus."
Well, yesterday I was at my 3rd annual trip to Brookfield Zoo's "Boo In The Zoo" (a great chance to see animals and kids in costumes).
At the giant Pumpkin carving station a family from Japan was admiring the handywork and they were taking pictures of their daughter.
I understood everything that girl said.

Lesser evils
Last night I was slicing an onion and I cut the tip of my thumb semi-badly.
I was standing there pissed at myself that it happened and yelling. I glanced over at the George Foreman grill which was going strong awaiting my onions. Just for an instant I thought over pushing the cut onto the grill to seal it back up. But then I decided dealing with a cut would be easier than dealing with the burn.
