Not bad Apple
Tuesday drop-off, Friday delivery, Teflon's iBook is fully ready to go, and another 90 day waranttee on the logic board, woo!
Now I get to make her re-design the website, and start her own weblog too.
Or she'll be playing I-Spy Haunted Mansion for the next few days, you decide.

And for the first time, I walked out happy...
Got Teflon a new 'used' iBook earlier this week. Guy I bought it from said it had some issues, but I guess his and my version of "sometimes" differed, as my sometimes was @30% and the reality was @90%.
Turns out it was either the 'reed switch' going bad, or the dreaded logic board replacement issue.
I went to the Old Orchard Apple Store last night at 7:30PM to get a slot at the Genius Bar. My 8:10PM appointment was started at 9PM.
Told guy what was up, he checked, said it was logic board, and that it was covered. Then he typed some more and said "uh-oh". Then he typed more and more.
Turns out that particular machine had had a replaced logic board and it's eligibility was over on 06/08/2005.
They took it in and will send it back soon. I was so happy I bought Teflon the iSpy game she was playing on their demo machines.
