3 years and going strong!
Today is my 3 year anniversary for working at the store, and even though I gave 2 weeks advance warning, no one has said anything.
I doubt I'm getting a raise this year, as I got a kind of bonus, that'd be cheaper than getting a raise in the boss' eyes, and he was too kind in previous raises (who do you know that's gotten 4 $1/hour in raises in 3 years time?). So I don't think that will happen, but at least aknowledge it.
My wife bought us lunch today, which was super nice and fun, then she went to the comic book store.
It must be nice to have a job where you can take time off and it doesn't avalanche into disaster.

Internet Radio Eft
So I've been toying with the idea of having my own Live365 station and I have to buy in by tomorrow to take advantage of lower rates. I don't have the cash to buy in exactly tomorrow, so the higher rates if I can do it for under $15 a month will have to do.
I'm looking at the basic no frills 100MB station package that will give me a total listenership of 25 @ once. If it grows, I can expand, but I may call for a fund raiser Paypal link on the site here to help me out, but I'm sure I'll make it a cool reason to, like giving you your own guest show or something.
I'm thinking of calling 32Meg as the idea was to have each "show" be able to fit on my lowly Rio 600 32MB mp3 player.
I'll probably get it going this weekend.

Someone stole my pigeons!
Behind the store two retarded pigeons were left and they're babies and they don't fly they just walk around back there looking at you funny, and now they're gone. I'll miss them.

Father's day
Me & lil' Vern went halfsies on a digital camera for my step-dad. Just seeing his face and helping him set it up, I knew that that money was very well spent. The other thing is that I'm always able to get him the silliest cards and he just loves them.
There's really something to say about someone appreciating a gift you give them. It pretty much made my day.
