I found out the real answer, you jerk
Okay, if you've ever talked and listened to music with me you'll notice I have a bad habit of sample spotting (this also occurs if we're watching a movie). Sample spotting to me means figuring out where X artist got Y sample from in their track. Given the amount of electronic music I listen to, this can take up some time, especially if there are no acknowedgements to said sample in the first place.
So, flash back to @ 5 years ago. I have just discovered Sonic Subjunkies on the DHR label and had found a way to get in touch with Thaddi of the goup via e-mail. Along with him sending me a few samples he had nicked from DJ Scud (one of which I used and turns out I recreated parts of "Total Distruction" without having heard it prior) I fianlly ask him where the sample from "Central Industrial" came from (this was also in a FSOL track). He tells me it was in Wim Wenders' Until The End Of The World. So I rent it and it's proably one of the longest most boring films ever made. And the sample is not from this movie! Funny joke, Thaddi.
But haha, I think I found it today. It's from a movie called Ghosts..of The Civil Dead I have asked Teflon to get it on the way home, so tomorrow I'll know for sure.Maybe.
