I don't know what happened. I spent over 12 hours of preparation, but disaster upon disaster struck. From MIDI problems, to missing table, to sampler lim itations, & more.
I spent the afternoon freaked out. I might've had a heart attack, my heart was racing. I had no material prepared.
I decided to just fudge it with pre-sets, but even those didn't sound good.
So we went down there and were supposed to meet @ 8:30, but the directions to the station were vague and we got there @ 9. The other guy didn't show up until 9:20, and I told him I wasn't ready, and that I was sorry, but if he needed me to, I would set up and do it. He said I could go, and I did.
So, now my fears are proven, I'm all talk, no action. And it isn't as easy as I thought.
Next time I will be prepared.
