So I got to put a modchip in this guy's PSX for him, get it all opened up, and lo and behold I find a modchip.
So I remove it and install my better one, but now it won't boot. I suspect sloppiness on my part.

Adventures in bad ideas
Last week my spam filter through Earthlink told me I had used all 500 slots for filtering spam, so dumbass that I am decided to wipe the slate clean and start fresh from scratch.
Oops. I get alotta spam. I wish they filtered by whole domain, like Hotmail does. I wrote tech support and asked for that feature. Hopefully soon.

Eric's back in town!
I was going to post earlier that I wondered where he was, but he called me after work and invited me out.
Just so everyone knows, he had one of the greatest pool games in his life. We were playing teams and Brent broke and sank almost all of the stripes, then Eric comes in and mops up all of the solids and the eight-ball in just one turn, it was like outta one of dem movies like the Hustler, or another movie where people play pool alot.

How dare they!
Today marks the seven day anniversary that local cable company came to my building and unplugged the cable feeding the condo their services.
After 5 months of just having a cable-ready TV plugged into "I thought it was the building antenna, and that we were supplied basic cable free", they came in and yanked me.
After 3 hours of research into digital cable filter boxes, now wasted.
After much soul searching, Teflon and I have decided maybe we gotta buy cable.
I'm almost over my revenge attitude of wanting to walk the building randomly cutting lines so they have to re-wire it.
almost

Holy Poop I forgot my blog!
Today is a great day. I started up on vitamins again and feel very energized and ready for the world! Just wait for the double espresso to wear off.
Playing Lolita Storm's "Girls Fucking Shit Up" CD real loud in the basement of the store as an enticement for this rude guy to leave. He's manhandling the records so bad I want to kick him out. But I figure the shouts and break-beats will make him interested in leaving before his ears bleed. Each song, I edge up the volume just a wee bit. I can almost not take it, but I'm standing right up on the speakers.
I got my eMate memory upgrade yesterday and have installed it after a brainwipe. Seems a bit more zippy, but I need some time to load softwares (expect blog posts wirelessly, if my WAVELAN card didn't die) and rebuild the battery. The proof will be in the pudding.
(yum, pudding)
So the anniversary went nice. We started out with a New Orleans breakfast at Dixie Kitchen, followed by much lounging about the house. I went to blockbuster and rented Bored Of the Rings: 2 Towers & 24-hour party people.
(update: 10 tracks in to the CD and adios customer, need to make the "Get out of the store CD" need it to be 2 tracks max/customer)
At 8PM we got dressed up and went to some restaurant that I didn't like.
I gave her some jewelry, toys, and the cats got us some Destroyer paperbacks (our guilty pleasure).
She got me some Dr.Martens shoes, 3-eye Cherry-Red steel toe (??).
