My wife read the about me post and says I am not bitter. So, apparantly I am not bitter.
She is the boss, y'know.

It sounds "thin". When the Oscillator wave is turned more from sine to square wave, it sounds "silly", not silly as in wants to make you giggle, but you turn your head and think to your core "well that's just silly".
I expected it to sound like the theremin opening lines of Rob Zombie's "Dragula" or like a tube theremin from the theremin movie, but mine sounds "thin", like a Casio approximation. I found on the Paia webpage a modification I can do to maybe correct this, but I intend on putting a switch onto this mod, rather than soldering it directly and making it final. Now, I gotta find and unpack one of my soldering irons. I'll do this on Saturday. Until then I may dig out my Boss PS-3 Pitch/Delay pedal and put that on there.
Oh, and I don't know what I'm doing when I play it.

In next 20 minutes I'll be theremin'in!
My wife, Teflon of eft-teflon.com has made it known that she has only been mentioned 2 times in my blog.
Now it is 3! I offered her posting rights, but suspect that since we're offline @ the condo, that she's waiting.

I set-up the cats' LitterMaid self-scooping litter box in the kitchen corner today. There's no power outlet near there, so I had to use the batteries option. 8 damn "D" cells! But the cats like it better than the regular box, cuz it's always "cleaner". However I do not think the thing was designed for 4 cats to visit it in one "scoop cycle".
I've been peeking into my neighbors' storage sheds. I can see that I am not the only Apple computer fan in the building, but I can bet my collection is the greatest.

IT IS HERE!My theremin has arrived. IT is so cleaned up and nice. Now for 7 agonizing hours until I can go home and play it.

No videos or theremin!
Whatever happened to AudioChocolate? The label did a CD, a CD-R mixtape, then vanished. www.audiochocolate.com
I asked at the www.c8.com message boards, Parasite, owner of the domain said "funny, I own that domain, what's happened?". Patric Catani, one of the label's founders has releases coming out on other labels (not that he didn't always release on multiple labels), his last label , Spite, disappeared. I don't get it.
Someone in the know, drop me a line (eft@the37.com).

Well, both the videos and the theremin haven't showed up today.
We unpacked a little more this weekend, but mostly we just hung out doing nothing, as that was the 1st weekend since in about a year that both of us had no plans/obligations.
There are alot of nice places to eat in downtown Evanston.
I listened to the songs that were stuck in my head this AM trying to get them out, but it didn't work. So right now I'm listening to both inside my head at the same time trying to work out a "best bootlegs in the world ever" version, but it's only silly, as "The Nightmare of JB Stanislas" & Add N To X's "Murmur One" do not gel together.
I'm trying to work out a deal with the guy putting out Patric Catani's new CD to send me a few @ wholesale and the Candie Hank LP (for me only) so that I can gaurantee having them for myself. He seems cool enough, but the wife gave me a budget, so I can't get 100, more like 5-8.
